Some hints on finding his birth...

He was a farmer and livied in Ballinabuck so there is a good chance he was born in Ballinabuck

He married in Feb 1857 so assuming he was at least 18 when he married (probably 21?) then he would be born before Feb 1839 probably before Feb 1836

The census says he was 60 in 1901 which would suggest 1841 but that would make him too young when he married and census' are often inacurate

So assuming birth is prior to feb 1839 I searched irishgenealogy.ie and found none in 1830s and 2 in 1820s...

Its odd there are 2 John Kennedys so close together. Both have same parents and place of birth
Maybe 1822 one died so they named 1824 one John as well?

This creates an age difference and would mean

John was 33 and Nora 19
when they married

It is possible. Also it means when their child Hanora was born in 1880 John would be 56 and Nora 42

Looking at townlands.ie maps Ballynahow is close to Ballynabuck so why not.

with Thomas Kennedy and Honora Smith as parents
