I know Thomas served in the Border reg and left before the war started.
Presumably he joined again?
Another fact in favour of this being hin is that I can't find him in the UK, Scottish or Irish death indexes. Which is what you would expect if he died in France.

For years I thought she was Selina Doggart but I found out recently that was her second name. No wonder I couldn't find her
In 1901 census her second name is given as "L" which will stand for "Lena", short for Selina.

1891 census is very hard to read. thegenealogist.co.uk has her as Lilian. Ancestry has Lelina. It is her though.
