Might be wrong Elizabeth. Just assuming from name, date and general location which fit which could be wrong. She is on her own as a servant so there are no family members with her. I did wonder why she would work as a Laundry maid when her Dad had a business. She could work for him. But when you look at his situation around 1901 you can see the business was getting into trouble at that time. Elizabeth Doggart|Laundry Maid|Single|27|Pitlochry
Census
The house she worked in is interesting. It belonged to John Colville. A Scottish Liberal politician. He was Provost of Motherwell from 1888 until 1895 and Liberal Member of Parliament (MP) for North-East Lanarkshire from 1895 until his death. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Colville_%28Scottish_politician%29 His son who is just 7 on the census was also a well know figure... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Colville,_1st_Baron_Clydesmuir http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Colville_%26_Sons
