Sarah incorrectly specifies her Father as William Williams when it was actually Alfred Williams. I am confident it was Alfred Williams as he appears on her first marriage cert and on her own birth cert.

I suspect she made the mistake because she never knew her real father, he died a few months after she was born, her mother remarried.

Also she was really 30 not 28 :)

The Late Mrs F W Fisher The funeral service at St Michaels Church Basingstoke on Monday for Mrs Sarah Emma Fisher was folowed by internment at Worting Road Cemetary.

Mrs Fisher who was 67 died at her home 10 George Street on the previous Thursday.

She was a native of Workington Cumberland and spent the early part of her life in business in Newcastle on Tyne.

She and Mr Fisher whom she married after the death of her first husband came south to Basingstoke in 1926.
