Alec Welsh

Tom Welsh says...

"My father (Alec) was a teacher, and soon after leaving the Army in 1945 he joined the British Council and was posted, with my mother (Margaret) and Alasdair, to Rosario where my sister and I were born.

They then moved to Buenos Aires, and any "emigration" records reflect ocean trips home for holidays and to visit my elderly and ailing grandparents. Jean Black Doggart actually died on the "Brasil Star", although her death was registered at Rio de Janeiro, the next port the ship reached. "
