Address: Rural Cleland House Bothwell Lanarkshire Note: Might be wrong Elizabeth. Just assuming from name, date and general location which fit which could be wrong. She is on her own as a servant so there are no family members with her. Might be wrong Elizabeth. Just assuming from name, date and general location which fit which could be wrong. She is on her own as a servant so there are no family members with her. I did wonder why she would work as a Laundry maid when her Dad had a business. She could work for him. But when you look at his situation around 1901 you can see the business was getting into trouble at that time. Elizabeth Doggart|Laundry Maid|Single|27|Pitlochry Note: The house she worked in is interesting. It belonged to John Colville. A Scottish Liberal politician. He was Provost of Motherwell from 1888 until 1895 and Liberal Member of Parliament (MP) for North-East Lanarkshire from 1895 until his death. The house she worked in is interesting.
